Project: Boy's Room Mural

My two-and-a-half year old son son was being moved out of the nursery to make room for his new baby sister, so I wanted to give him a room he could enjoy and grow with him as he matured.

The nursery has a four wall floor-to-ceiling mural of the Irish countryside, so I wanted to make a radical departure with theme and painting style. I went with the look and feel of an upper east side Manhattan apartment loft, complete with a beautiful "view" of the city skyline at dawn.

Cork floors, simple wood furniture and cable track chopstick lights finished the look. My son loves his room.
